Jessica & Seán's wedding in the Castlecourt Hotel Westport Mayo

14th October 2016
Loved the visit to Jessica's home on wedding morning....love old country homes and the character and charm that they have.....and those that live in them are as welcoming as you get!
Familiar faces help too so thanks to bridesmaids Aine, Denise and the two Emmas for being happy and chatty, and simply lovely people to be around on wedding day.
Jessica was a very pretty bride, and nothing fazed her. Indeed after her wedding weekend, she would be playing Gaelic Football in Croagh Park....just a couple of days later.....I didn't keep a close eye on her with regards to hydration requirements but I'm sure she had one eye the following week!
Seán and his groomsmen James, Frank, Mark and Ciaran were in plenty of time and doing the Fiann Fáil (....pressing the flesh) when I arrived, and were accommodating to running off some photos before Jessica arrived pretty much on time! John Murphy of Avalon Video was looking after the video requirements....always have the craic and the banter when we're together and as always really enjoyed that!
After the ceremony, we stopped just outside Ballinrobe for a few photos in a majestic lane-way....never shot there before but definitely will be back there to avail of it again!
After out short shoot in Ballinrobe, we headed over to Westport House for the remainder of the images....unfortunately it was raining when we arrived and took shelter for a short while before Jessica and Seán very bravely decided to use the shelter of the trees for some more images....really appreciate their enthusiasm for same, such a joy to work with them and their bridal parties!
The Castlecourt Hotel was our final stop.....again one of my favorite hotels to work in, Vinny and his team are top class as well as being grounded and welcoming team!
Thanks Jessica and Seán for being out of the top drawer to work with....really enjoyed this wedding. When you look at the family and bridal parties that you were surrounded by, they were top class which is also a reflection of the both of you and who you are!
Wishing you both the very best in Oz and please god we'll see you back in the homeland in the future!
