Caitriona and Fergal's wedding in the Clayton Hotel Galway

03rd October 2017
Caitriona and Fergal's were lucky to have one of the best days this summer had to offer in Galway this year!
Exceptionally hot day but very enjoyable among a host of Galway's finest wedding suppliers.
John Murphy of Avalon Video accompanied me to Teach na Coirbe where Caitriona's preparations were taking place alongside her bridal party consisting of her sisters Roisín and Sinéad as well as her good friends Emma and Niamh. They were in the exceptionally competent hands of Make Up Artist Caroline Coyne and hair stylist Natalie O'Brien who both did a super job and making them all look simply awesome!
After the bridal preps, John Murphy and I made the very short spin up the road to Castlegar Church which looked fantastic in the wedding decor that Caitriona had arranged.
Fergal was soaking up the sun's rays and shooting the breeze with his groomsmen and guests when we arrived. I borrowed his merry men consisting of Matthias, Aidan, Michael and Darragh for a few shots before the punctual bride arrived. Costello's of Corofin as well as Brian Jarvis's team from Corportate Wedding Cars were responsible for looking after the large bridal parties.
After the ceremony, we made the journey to the Claddagh in Galway City....a place that was bustling with both tourists and locals and Caitriona and Fergal seemed to enjoy the extremely positive good wished that everyone was extending to them.....this is something I never tire of seeing....the amount of good will that's extended to couples form strangers on their wedding day. We took some images on the Quay in the Claddagh before strolling up to Ti Neachtain's in Quay Street for some hydration.....marriage is thirsty work after all!!
Our final port of call was the excellent Clayton Hotel in Ballybrit.....a superb wedding venue with staff that are exceptionally warm and friendly to deal with and the jewel in their crown is the wonderful wedding co-ordinator Karina...top drawer material!
Thanks Caitriona and Fergal for being troopers to work with on your wedding day, and indeed it was lovely to cross paths with you again last Saturday at Sharon and Johnny's wedding...married life is suiting you both!!
